International Organization for Peace, Care and Relief

The International Organization for Peace, Care and Relief ( IOPCR ) is a non-governmental organization based in Tripoli , Libya . Founded in 1999, the United Nations (ECOSOC) has a consultative status with the Economic and Social Council and has an independent legal and financial status. The president of the organization is Khaled K. El-Hamedi .


IOPCR was founded to act in different humanitarian fields, with aims to address issues relating to peace, stability and prosperity.

‘Its objectives [1] are to:

  • International social and cultural differences.
  • Condemns all forms of aggression and military conflict against peoples and denounces their instigators.
  • Contradict all forms de collective deportations and forcible migration, therefore, to be able to defend themselves in a safe and secure manner. [2]
  • Contradict the production and use of all forms of weapons, in particular weapons of mass destruction, while requesting conflicting countries to disclose information about their planted mines.
  • Provide protection to refugees (groups and / or individuals) until a safe repatriation is made possible for them. [3]
  • Enlighten the world’s opinion on the environment and their impact on the future. [4]
  • Cooperate with all organizations and institutions that have similar objectives. [5] [6]

Since its establishment in the United States and the United States

The organization has acted in partnership with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees , the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Refugees and others in the illegal migration and the Mediterranean . [7] They also participated in international conferences and assemblies related to these issues, helping to provide protection and to address these problems.

In March 2010 the IOPCR launched from Tripoli, Libya, the Palestinian people, a fraternity program between the Libyan and Palestinian families under the patronage of the organization [13]that was signed on January 10, 2010 in Gaza between the President of IOPCR Khaled El Hamedi and the Palestinian Prime Minister Ismail Haniyeh during the delegation’s trip to Gaza.
